CEO's MESSAGE

For over 40 years, CABS Health Network has been a bedrock for quality care services and job opportunities for underserved and low-income residents in New York City and Nassau County. We are committed to our clients and the principles of aging in place.

It’s hard to believe that it’s been five years since we launched the Circle of Care Awards (COCA) at the NYCHA Kingsborough & Hugh Ed Gilroy Senior Center on St. Marks Avenue in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. It is exciting to host the 5th annual COCA as an in-person event & gala. Our 2023 Theme – “Celebrating Self-Care,”- reflects our goals to be relevant to the changing needs of our community. COVID-19 has unearthed an area in our healthcare continuum, “Mental Health,” which is negatively stigmatized and often only addressed when conditions are at high acuity levels.

Join us this year for our 5th annual COCA as we celebrate self-care, our clients, and our partners, who help us make a difference in our circle of care.

Sincerely yours

Sherly Demosthenes-Atkinson

CEO - CABS Health Network
